Although I am not an avid golfer, I found Golf's Three Noble Truths improved my game in life. As a teacher and mother of two small children, I am constantly trying to find the balance in life. Ragonnet's book calls the reader to awaken him/herself to the details of the game. For me this translated into awakening my role as a mother and teacher. I have read Zen Golf (a much better book) and this book. This book has quick 2 or 3 page stories that often conflict with each other (I guess that is the yin/yang for this book), but the format just does not make you want to revisit your mind and open yourself up on a golf course.



I think we all know that we need to trust ourselves, focus on learning, not getting angry, not focusing on results/score, and being aware of the whole golf experience, but I do not find that this book reall......



This is an amazing book. For golfers with even the slightest of philosophical bents, this is a must read. If your bookshelves contain books like Michael Murphy's Golf in the Kingdom, Timothy Gallwey's The Inner Game of Golf, Fred Shoemaker's Extraordinary Golf, and Joseph Parent's Zen Golf, then Golf's Three Noble Truths: The Fine Art of Playing Awake should be on your bookshelf as well.
