A very accessible book written for everyone. Beck gives us a revised "Common Sense" for the times we now live in. Written in simple but pointed language, this book does much to refresh a mind inundated by the usual political banter by simply bringing us back to basics. It points out the various abuses of power that are constantly being perpetrated by our leadership, especially those entrusted to represent us. It also points out how in order for our Republic to last, we the people must become act......



Have not read book as yet, but know that I shall enjoy and learn from it.

I just finished Glenn's book today and strongly recommend it. I also finished 5000 year leap--which is also just an amazing book everyone should read. But do yourself a favor and pick up Glenn's book, it is brief and does an excellent job of laying out how those in power have corrupted and circumvented the system our founding fathers were wise enough to put in place.

As a high school student, i feel as if more concern should be focused on this topic. Those of you who criticize Beck's work obviously don't realize what is at stake. Our freedom is more important than your personal grudges against a man speaking what needs to be addressed. After reading this book, I now see that in order to make America once again free, the citizens need to band together as a unit and stand up to the government. Unfortunantly, I believe that the use of violence is inevitable. Ma......



As someone who thinks everyone should read Common Sense (by Thomas Paine) and who was handed this book recently, I am here to report I'm quite displeased. Glenn Beck is a Johnny Come Lately Neo-Con in Libertarian clothing supposedly fighting for Liberty and pushing traditional american small government values once espoused by our wonderful Founding Fathers. I find it funny coming from a man who bent over backwards for years kissing the hindcheeks of the Bush administration. Apparently it too......
